A considerable estate that’s already becoming a favourite with police forces (they’re ordering them up through the dozen as rapid response cars) the Magnum comes standard using the 5.7 litre hemi (there’s also a lower-powered version of Magnum having a 250PS V6, but that’s for life’s under-achievers) which gives the large beast acceleration that startles, along with a top speed on this high side of 225kph.

You may need a lot of road to make it corner very quickly; not a problem on wide American roads but an issue on narrow European lanes, should anybody import one -but you might have a lot of fun in this car.

Through the same token it is additionally a comfortable machine when caged in traffic.
