An undistinguished looking car (from some angles there’s a nod towards the old model Audi A3, from others a glance of the Mazda 3) Corolla is the world’s best-selling car.
Quite why nobody continues to be able to work out; the solution probably is based on its apparently endless quantity of body and driveline permutations.
The smaller-engined models are underpowered but miserly with fuel, whilst the top-line 109PS variant is livelier without having to be too thirsty.
Adding some more capacity to the output of the T-Sport would help matters along however they haven’t done this.
